REGISTRATION AND ADMISSION:

Admission Requirements

​

Most programs at Riverside College have a minimum requirement of successful completion of Grade 10 and Grade 11 course requirements.  Please note program specific requirements may apply.  Both non-graduated students and graduated students are welcome to apply to Riverside College.

As part of the application process you will be required to provide the following ORIGINAL documentation and identification:

​

  • Completed and signed application forms

  • Most recent report card and transcript

  • Proof of Citizenship

  • Proof of Residency in BC

  • Proof of Age

  • Dual Credit Form (if non-grad)

  • Indigenous Consultation Form (if applicable)

Application Process - Trades & Career Programs

​

The application process for the upcoming school year will begin February 1.  See below for details.

1.  Complete our Application of Interest and submit to Riverside College in person or by email to rtc.info@mpsd.ca.  You will receive confirmation by email that your Application of Interest has been received.  If you do not receive this confirmation email, please contact our office as this may indicate your Application of Interest was not received. 

 

2. Riverside office staff will contact you directly with instructions on how to apply to our programs and will include all application and registration documents and information.  Application packages must be dropped off in person at our office.  ORIGINAL documentation and identification is required to be provided.  Copies of identification will not be accepted.

3.  Upon receipt of all required application and registration documents, you will be contacted regarding further steps in the application process.  The process may include participation in a program information session, completion of an online assessment, or a program interview.  

​

4. Successful applicants will be notified in writing upon conditional acceptance into the program and will be provided with further program information.

​

Please be advised that admission to Riverside College is a competitive process.  Program spots will be filled on an on-going basis until classes are full.  For this reason, ensure your application and registrations documents are submitted in its entirety in a timely manner.

Application Process - Continuing Education

​

The application process for Continuing Education courses is on-going throughout the school year.  Please contact our office to discuss what courses are required.  Riverside office staff will then send you an application package and instructions.
